In the Begining

I needed to allow you to dip your feet in the waters of my past, just a little, so there would be a better understanding of everything. I am a devote believer in the power of God and His undying love and mercy. He is the alpha and omega. I am forever grateful to him. The time was late summer in 2005. I had just left my friends house and proceeded down the road home. I remember leaving his house around 1 in the morning. Now, this next part is where it becomes a little vague. Sometime between leaving his house and about halfway home I ventured my way into a ditch hitting a cement driveway. All of this information is not found in my memories. I believe God removed them to rid me of the horrors that were to come. The impact of my car slamming into a wall of cement and dirt turned my car into a taco as I can find no other way of describing the shape that it was in. Approximately 5 hours later a gentleman was driving the opposite direction that I had been passed by and saw remnants of my car strewn on the highway. He continued onward until he felt God speak to him and tell him to turn around. I must pause briefly to fill you in on this angel that God placed on my pathway. I still to this day have not met him. After a long ordeal of ambulance and helicopter rides I found myself in the hospital. I had bruised my brain and therefore was in a comma for 2 days. I had severely damaged my body. The left side of my face was unrecognizable. I broke a rib that lacerated my left lung. The C4 on the back of my neck also fractured as well as both of my ankles. I spent less than a week at the hospital and I am proud to report I walked out of it when it was all said and done. Now that I have filled you in on who I am and what Ive done, I want to make you aware that my mission is to impact lives just as mine has been. I want to share myself and my life's journeys through this in hope and faith that I will impact at least just one life. Remember what I said, If one man can change many, how many can the many change. Share this with your friends and we can sure find out.
